She spoke on topics related to living, dying, morality, finding genuine teachers, grief, creating high regard toward ourselves, and what to do with our lifetime.
About Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo: Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo was raised in London and became one of the first westerners to be ordained as a nun in the Tibetan Drukpa Kagyu tradition. Jetsunma spent twelve years meditating in a cave in the Himalayas in the Lahaul region of North India, three of which were in solitary retreat. She is a brilliant teacher who is able to touch the hearts of many with her presence, her profound understanding of the Dharma, and its relevance and application in daily life. She is also a powerful voice for female Buddhist practitioners. She founded the Dongyu Gatsal Nunnery in the Kangra Valley of Himachal Pradesh, India, at the behest of her teacher, His Eminence Khamtrul Rinpoche and with the blessings of His Holiness, The Dalai Lama. She is the author of The Heroic Heart: Awakening Unbound Compassion.
